Job Description
The State of Connecticut, Department of Agriculture (DoAg) is seeking motivated agency employees for an Agriculture 2 position within the Bureau of Regulatory Services. The role supports daily barn operations, animal care, feeding, monitoring, recordkeeping, and coordination with veterinary and Animal Control staff.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of experience in one of the following areas related to the specific needs of the position:
  • General farm labor (crops, produce, orchards, etc.)
  • Farm animal science and/or maintenance (dairy, horses, poultry, sheep, pigs, etc.)
  • Plant science
  • Dairy manufacturing
