Agriculture Mechanical Packaging Rep

The Agriculture Mechanical Packaging Rep is responsible for maintaining, repairing, replacing, and modifying all company-owned and customer-owned packaging machinery with optimal quality and efficiency. This role requires travel to various locations, including Mexico, and working weekends and holidays. The Rep must have effective organizational and communication skills, as well as previous mechanical service experience.

What You Will Do

The main responsibilities of this role include repairing and maintaining packaging machinery, diagnosing machine problems, developing a preventative maintenance schedule, and training customers on machine operation. The Rep must also maintain organized documentation, rebuild machinery during downtime, and serve as a resource to other mechanics.

Requirements

• Able to travel to 3-4 months at a time
• Able to work weekends and holidays
• Ability to walk, stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for 8-12 hours/day
• Previous mechanical service experience, 2-4 years preferred
• Valid driver's license and passport
• Good driving record
