Role OverviewThe AI Engineer is a mid-level individual contributor on PTMA's Data & AI team, reporting to the Manager of Data & AI Engineering. You will help build and refine how PTMA uses AI day to day, working hands-on with our enterprise Claude environment, building automations that save real time across the business, and partnering with teams throughout the firm to turn manual work into reliable, AI-assisted workflows.
What You Will Do
You will help develop and refine PTMA's enterprise Claude deployment, build and maintain AI-powered automations across business units, and contribute to data and analytics engineering work as needed.

Requirements
- Hands-on experience building with large language models
- Working knowledge of data engineering concepts
- Proficiency in Python or a comparable language
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to explain AI capabilities and limitations clearly
- Comfort working in or supporting a regulated environment
