Role OverviewAtlas is seeking motivated AI Interns to support the development of innovative artificial intelligence tools that enhance how civil engineering and planning teams deliver projects. This role offers hands-on experience applying AI, automation, and data analysis to real-world transportation, infrastructure, and environmental challenges.
What You Will Do
Assist in the design and development of AI-driven tools to improve engineering workflows, data analysis, and reporting. Develop scripts, models, or workflows that automate repetitive or data-intensive tasks. Support internal teams by translating business and engineering needs into technical AI solutions.

Requirements

- Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines in a part-time, fast-paced environment.
- Experience or coursework related to AI, machine learning, data analytics, or automation.
- Experience with or exposure to tools such as Python, Jupyter Notebooks, Git/GitHub, APIs, or low-code automation platforms.
