Job Description
The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking an Air Noise Administrative Support Associate to perform detail-oriented administrative work, including reviewing and processing summonses, and managing permits and inquiries in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and three years of satisfactory full-time progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, one year of which must have been in an administrative capacity or supervising staff performing clerical/administrative work of more than moderate difficulty;
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as Excel proficiency and the ability to work in a team setting;
  • Close attention to detail and organization skills to ensure all permits and inquiries are managed professionally and completed in a timely manner;
  • Excellent written, oral communication skills, customer service experience, and the possibility of a supervisory role;
