Job Description
Buckland is looking for an Air & Ocean Specialist, Senior to coordinate the handling of documentation and advances for clearance, delivery of freight after clearance, and monitoring and control all entry/entry summary preparation to ensure shipments are entered in accordance with the US Federal Code of Regulations. The ideal candidate will have high school diploma or equivalent, minimum three years of relevant work experience, and intermediate MS Office experience.

Requirements

  • Provide the highest level of customer service to clients.
  • Responsible for all Import of Air & Ocean shipments by working with forwarders on daily basis and ensuring POD is supplied.
  • Expediting and tracing as required.
  • Determination of profit levels and billing.
  • Process required customs documentation.
  • Development, implementation, and maintenance of department processes.
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills.
  • Showcase your skills with Microsoft utilizing programs such as Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Identify potential challenges/risks and solve problems efficiently or work with Leaders for a solution.
  • Foster a fast-paced culture leading by example in terms of accountability and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Effectively prioritize and manage the team multiple and personal tasks to meet KPI's and deadlines.
  • To provide the highest level of customer service by leading and mentoring, fostering a positive and productive work environment and resolving escalated issues as needed.
