Role Overview

The Air Ops Data Analyst supports drone-based asset inspection programs by managing, validating, organizing, analyzing, and reporting data collected through unmanned aircraft systems. The role translates visual, thermal, telemetry, geospatial, and asset-related data into actionable information for operations, engineering, vegetation management, and other internal stakeholders.

What You Will Do

Review and validate AI-generated inspection findings from drone-captured visual and thermal imagery and video. Manage and organize high volumes of UAS inspection data, including imagery, video, telemetry, thermal data, geospatial information, and associated asset records. Analyze inspection results and operational trends; translate findings into clear dashboards, scorecards, visualizations, reports, and decision-ready insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, GIS, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in data analysis, data operations, business analytics, GIS, utility operations, or a related discipline
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
