Job Description
This is a reposting for an Air Quality Technician 2 position at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction's London Correctional Institution. The successful candidate will work under general direction and require thorough knowledge of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating technology and its processes. The role involves leading lower-level air quality technicians and/or incarcerated individuals in installation, preventative maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, as well as performing highly skilled maintenance and installation work on HVAC equipment.

Requirements

  • 6 months of verifiable experience in heating, ventilation, air conditioning & refrigeration maintenance, repair & installation
  • 1 course or 3 months of experience in blueprint reading
  • 1 course or 3 months of experience in hand & power tool operation
  • 1 course or 3 months of experience in minor welding operation
