Role OverviewThis part-time position provides air traffic control services during locally staffed operational hours at the Millington–Memphis Airport Non-Federal Control Tower. The Air Traffic Control Specialist supports the safe, orderly, and efficient movement of aircraft operating at and in the vicinity of the airport.
What You Will Do
Provide air traffic control services for aircraft arrivals, departures, and ground movements, manage traffic pattern operations and sequencing, issue taxi, takeoff, and landing instructions, and maintain situational awareness of aircraft and vehicle activity on the airfield.

Requirements
- Control Tower Operator (CTO) Certificate
- Current Class II Medical Certificate
- Previous air traffic control experience in a tower environment
- Familiarity with FAA air traffic control procedures and phraseology
- Candidates with previous FAA or Federal Contract Tower Specialist experience preferred
- Candidates with recent operational experience preferred
