Role OverviewThe Air Vehicle Engineering Manager will lead a diverse team of engineers and logistics integrators to achieve technical alignment across multiple functions and ensure successful business execution. The manager will work in a high-visibility, fast-paced, and diverse work environment, overseeing and guiding the execution of multiple programs, including comprehensive engineering support.
What You Will Do
The manager will be responsible for leading resolution of technical issues and risks, working with internal and external teams to find solutions, and providing vision and leadership in capturing future business opportunities. They will also work to lead continuous improvement efforts to improve performance on current contracts and coach, develop, and inspire employees.

Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
- 1+ years of experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP)
- 1+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
- 1+ years of experience partnering with a United States Government (USG) Department of Defense (DoD) customer to propose or deliver services and products
- Prior aviation or aerospace experience
