Job Description
The State of Montana is hiring an Aircraft Inspector for the Aviation Bureau. The position is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing department aircraft, aircraft components, and aircraft support equipment to ensure airworthiness. The inspector will perform critical airworthiness inspections, conduct purchasing and inventory management, and ensure operational safety and legal compliance of department aircraft.

Requirements

  • Perform critical airworthiness inspections of department aircraft, aircraft components, and aircraft support equipment
  • Conduct purchasing and maintain inventories to ensure compliance with federal, state, and department procurement and inventory tracking requirements
  • Ensure operational safety and legal compliance of department fixed and rotary wing aircraft
