Role Overview

Performs a range of routine tasks involving the diagnosis and repair to all District aircraft according to manufacturers' specifications and Federal Aviation regulations. Works under general supervision at the SFWMD Hanger in Wellington, Florida.

What You Will Do

Diagnose and repair turbine helicopters, focusing on Bell 407 and 206 aircraft, including engine and avionics repairs. Respond to mechanical breakdown calls in the field, and observe and examine machinery and parts in operation to detect malfunctioning or defective units.
