Role OverviewAs an Aircraft Parts Painter, you will prepare and spray paint various aircraft parts, ensuring they are clean and not damaged before hand-sanding the surfaces for a smooth surface before masking and priming. You will use painting techniques to coat all crevices of aircraft parts with primer or paint based on specifications. Your responsibilities may include checking parts to ensure they are clean and not damaged, selecting and adjusting spray guns per instructions, and mixing paint according to specifications.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing aircraft parts for painting, painting various aircraft parts, and inspecting parts to ensure no dirt, dust, or other foreign objects appear in paintwork before baking in an oven.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school education, GED, or a Bronze Level WorkKeys certification, experience using polyurethane, Hexamine chromium, and various types of paint, and attention to detail and ability to read paint (i.e. wet, dry, blotchy).
