Airline Wheelchair Supervisor

As a Wheelchair Supervisor, you will oversee the wheelchair operation at an airport facility, ensuring that all passengers requiring assistance are treated with excellence. This hands-on position requires on-the-job security training and the ability to receive all applicable airport security badges.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include assisting passengers in wheelchairs to and from their arrival/departure gate, assisting with moving luggage, and maintaining a friendly and positive attitude. You will also be required to communicate effectively and clearly with passengers, and to follow dispatcher gate orders.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and push a loaded wheelchair up to 300lbs. You will also need to be able to obtain an airport badge and complete all required training, including airport compliance.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to clear a background and drug screen
• At least (1) one year of supervisory experience
• Airline experience preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and push a loaded wheelchair up to 300lbs
