Job Description
We are looking for an Associate, Mid-Level, or Senior Airplane Safety Engineer to join the Airplane Safety Engineering Team within Enterprise Safety Mission Assurance in Everett, WA. The selected candidate will conduct thorough safety analyses at the airplane level across various engineering disciplines and support commercial development programs or commercial in production programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 1+ years of experience in airplane systems design and/or analysis and/or systems integration
  • 1+ years of experience performing system safety analysis and/or studies
  • Experience with the commercial airplanes certification process
  • 1+ years of experience do you have working with safety analyses such as Risk Assessments, Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA), Fault-tree Analysis (FTA), etc.
  • 1+ years of experience developing/applying aviation related system safety analysis methods, such as System Safety Risk Assessments, Fault-Tree Analysis (FTA), Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA), and Safety Assessment Report (SAR)
  • Pilot license or pilot experience
  • Experience do you have in mechanical or electrical engineering problem solving
