Role OverviewThe Airport Greeter is responsible for greeting Kiawah Island Golf Resort and The Sanctuary Hotel group guests upon their arrival at the Charleston International Airport and local private airports. This is an ON-CALL position, requiring availability on weekdays and weekends.
What You Will Do
Welcoming/greeting group guests, confirming drivers/vehicles are present prior to guest arrivals, assisting with luggage handling, and escorting guests to their vehicles in the charter lane outside baggage claim.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to handle confidential information, maintain discretion and security for the resort and guests, and be an ambassador to Kiawah Island Golf Resort at all times.
Requirements
- Positive and energetic attitude
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
- Ability to focus attention on details and be able to organize, prioritize, and follow up, if needed
- Ability to take initiative and work efficiently within any given period of time, unsupervised
- Ability to work flexible hours and to go an extra mile
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds across short-medium distance
- Must be able to stand for the entirety of a shift while reaching, bending, and stooping as needed
