Role Overview

The Airport Operations & Maintenance Specialist works to ensure the safety, security, and maintenance of Airport grounds, equipment, buildings, and facilities. The employee responds to Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) situations, provides excellent customer service, and performs daily, weekly, monthly inspections to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

What You Will Do

Perform daily, weekly, monthly inspections of equipment, facilities, and airport environment, maintain inventory of products, tools, and equipment, repair and maintain all runway and taxiway environments, airport hangars and other buildings, airport roads and grounds, airport equipment and vehicles, and access controls.

Must be able to perform all the essential duties of the FBO Services Agent/Airport Operations Agent position, work independently and in teams, provide oversight and direction of others as needed, and perform all duties while providing excellent customer service to all guests.

Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent (GED)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must be able to obtain ARFF certification for Aircraft Firefighting and Rescue (ARFF) within 6 months of employment
  • Must be able to obtain CPR & First Aid certification within 6 months of employment
  • Must pass a 10-year TSA background check
  • Must possess effective and efficient communication skills, both oral and written
