Role OverviewThe Duty Manager will oversee daily terminal operations, manage vendors and contractors, and ensure compliance with SOPs. They will work closely with LAWA, TSA, CBP, airlines, and federal agencies, and be available during all hours of operation.
What You Will Do
The Duty Manager will manage day-to-day terminal operations, coordinate airline and vendor activities, and perform daily walkthrough inspections of equipment and facilities. They will also assist in preparing annual operating and project budgets, and oversee document management programs.

Requirements
- Experience as an Operations Manager, Maintenance Manager or Assistant Manager of Airport Terminal or Airline-Station
- Demonstrated ability to handle all aspects of Terminal Management
- Proven ability to interface with Key Stakeholders
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation principles
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret budgets, blueprints, drawings, technical manuals, industry periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
- Ability to review/write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS office tools
- Local experience at LAX will be considered a plus
