Job Description
The Salvation Army is seeking a Donation Attendant to assist with the receipt and sorting of donated items at their Alhambra thrift store. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma/GED, be able to pass a background check, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED preferred
  • Must pass background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
  • Ability to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks and miscellaneous carts.
  • Ability to move product up to 75lbs with our without assistance.
  • Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
