Role OverviewServes as the primary alliance manager for assigned partnerships, accountable for driving alliance performance, governance, and cross-functional execution. Leads strategic and operational alignment across internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of collaboration objectives, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
What You Will Do
Own end-to-end alliance management for 2–4 strategic partnerships, ensuring delivery against contractual, operational, and business objectives. Lead alliance governance, including Joint Steering Committees and cross-functional working groups, shaping agendas, driving decision-making, and ensuring alignment on key priorities and risks.

Requirements
- BS/BA degree in a scientific or business field and 6+ years of experience in a biotechnology/pharmaceutical scientific or alliance management-based role
- Master’s degree in a scientific or business field and 4+ years similar experience
- PhD and 2+ years similar experience
- Demonstrated functional expertise working in a biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry role with expertise in a scientific discipline, business development, or alliance management function
- Ability to operate as a cross-functional leader and trusted partner across internal and external stakeholders
- Experience working with contracts and knowledge of legal terminology
- Working knowledge of small molecule and biologics drug discovery and development
- Experience collaborating with global teams
- Understanding of accounting and finance principles
- High attention to detail in all aspects of work
- Demonstrated success working with PowerPoint, Excel, and the Microsoft suite
- Ability to work as part of a team both as a contributor and as a leader
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Comfortable handling complex relationships and resolving conflict
- Ability to meet deadlines and communicate proactively when delays occur
- Good project management skills
