Alternative Fuel Operator

The Alternative Fuel Operator will perform general and preventive maintenance on LNG/CNG equipment, inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and electronic systems, and maintain equipment according to manufacturer specifications. This position requires someone who can work independently in remote locations, maintain a strong focus on safety, and perform extended shifts in extreme weather conditions.

What You Will Do

Perform general and preventive maintenance on LNG/CNG equipment, inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and electronic systems, maintain equipment according to manufacturer specifications, and perform maintenance and repairs on frac fleet engines and related equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• 2+ years of oilfield fueling or frac experience
• Must obtain the Railroad Commission of Texas LNG/CNG certificate within 30 days of employment
• Must live within 60 miles of the office location
• General knowledge of frac fleet engines
• Working knowledge of LNG/CNG, electrical, electronic, and diagnostic systems
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, time-management, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be willing to work overtime, nights, weekends, and overnight travel as needed
• Ability to work 12–18 hour shifts and in extreme weather conditions
• Must communicate effectively in English
