Job Description
As an Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Technician at UT Southwestern, you will complete prior authorizations and refill authorizations for ambulatory care clinics across the system, promoting patient care, safety, and medication adherence. Responsibilities include processing and/or assistance of prior authorizations, refill authorizations, and patient assistance programs, as well as participating in teaching activities and reporting directly to the pharmacist on service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year in retail pharmacy or equivalent
  • (TSBP) REG PHARMACY TECNICIAN Registration with Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) as a Registered Technician or Pharmacist Intern Upon Hire
  • (PTCB-CPHT) CERTIFIED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (Preferred)
