Ambulatory Surgical Center Administrator

Requirements

• Provide leadership to teammates
• Educate and communicate to teammates Center policies and procedures
• Facilitate teammate development and establish goals for teammate growth
• Administer teammate coaching and disciplinary action with appropriate approvals as needed
• Address teammate issues and escalate to appropriate parties as necessary
• Provide direction for center staff to ensure quality of work
• Determine staffing plans that promote the most effective use of all staff members and ensure coverage in the event of absences
• Review and approve employee timecards
• Develop and conduct training programs to keep staff current with policies, regulations, and laws for the Center(s)
• Maintain and educate staff on safety and security procedures and protocols
• Know and understand all clinical policies and procedures
• Manage Center(s) budget and inventory relative to patient volume
• Implement policies and procedures established by the Governing Board
• Support physicians and clinical team as necessary to deliver high quality care and positive outcomes
• Perform clinical duties-based licensure and certifications
• Ensure patient scheduling adheres to known protocols as determined by the Governing Board
• Review patient records for accuracy and inclusion of updated information
• Ensure compliance with all State and Federal laws and regulations
• Maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing on behalf of the Center(s)
• Fulfill and weekly, daily, or monthly reporting requirements as requested by Regional Manager and/or VP of Operations
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested
