Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated American Sign Language Interpreter (ASL) to join our team for a full-time, school-based opportunity in Englewood, Colorado. The ASL Interpreter will provide communication access for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students throughout the educational environment.
What You Will Do
As a school-based ASL Interpreter, you will provide communication access for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students throughout the educational environment. You will interpret spoken English into American Sign Language and ASL into spoken English while maintaining the meaning, intent, tone, and context of communication.

Requirements
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English
- Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) score of 3.5 or higher
- Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) certification preferred
- Completion of an Interpreter Training Program (ITP) or ASL-English interpreting program preferred
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous experience interpreting in K–12 educational settings strongly preferred
