Role OverviewAmeriCorps VISTA members build the long-term capacity of Safe Passages and its partner sites by developing systems, tools, and partnerships that expand access to critical services across Oakland and the Bay Area. Members work on projects such as developing internal systems, supporting with data collection and evaluation, strengthening outreach and communications, expanding volunteer engagement, and research best practices to inform program design.
What You Will Do
Support resource development efforts, research fundraising opportunities, grant writing, and donor communications. Work as part of an integrated team at a school site to support the development of services and partnerships necessary to meet low-income families' basic needs. Develop and implement a social media campaign to promote Safe Passages' anti-poverty efforts.
