Analyst/Senior Analyst

Purdue University's Institutional Data Analytics + Assessment (IDA+A) office is seeking an Analyst/Senior Analyst to help university leaders make informed decisions that impact student success, enrollment strategy, academic programs, and operational effectiveness. In this role, you'll transform complex institutional data into meaningful, actionable insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 2 years of experience analyzing data, developing reports or dashboards, applying statistical methods, and communicating findings to stakeholders (Analyst)
• 4 years of experience analyzing data, developing reports or dashboards, applying statistical methods, and communicating findings to stakeholders (Senior Analyst)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting findings and maintaining clear documentation
• Ability to translate stakeholder questions into analytical approaches and share results with technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data responsibly
• Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools; Tableau preferred
• Knowledge of relational databases and reporting tools; SQL and Cognos preferred
• Experience conducting statistical analysis using tools such as SAS, SPSS, or Minitab

• Anticipated annual salary range: $50,000–$90,000
