Role OverviewThe Analyst, Utility Billing Operations, is responsible for the oversight of the utility billing and bill pay functions within the utility billing platform for their assigned portfolio of communities. The Analyst must have technical expertise in all facets of utility billing and have a strong working knowledge of property management operations. The Analyst must also have strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with the utility billing team as well as correspond with the company's clients.
What You Will Do
Manage resident utility billing cycles, process monthly utility billing, respond to resident inquiries, and ensure all billing and allocation methods comply with jurisdictional regulations and lease terms.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience in utility billing operations, a strong working knowledge of property management accounting software, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years' experience in utility billing operations
- YARDI, Entrata, RealPage experience preferred
- Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Strong working knowledge of the real estate and property management industry
- Working knowledge of property management accounting software
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite skills
- Ability to read, analyze, articulate, and compile financial reports
