Role OverviewThe W.L. Gore Enterprise Analytical Team is looking for a co-op student to join our team for 3-6 months at our Elk Mills 1 facility in Elkton, MD. This person will perform thermal analysis and materials characterization on a wide range of materials using techniques such as TGA, DSC, TMA, chromatography and spectroscopy.
What You Will Do
Designing experiments to answer questions and solve problems related to materials and products from customers from a wide range of backgrounds, preparing samples and performing analysis in a high-volume analytical laboratory, interpreting the results of your experiments and sharing these results through presentations or reports.

Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or a related field
