Role OverviewInova Alexandria Hospital is looking for an Anesthesia Technician 2 to join the team. This role will be a Full-time, 3-12-hour shifts, Sunday days (7AM-7:30 PM) Monday & Tuesday Nights 6PM-6:30AM. What You Will Do
Assists and anticipates needs of Anesthesiologist in invasive monitor insertion and procedures such as pulmonary artery catheter, central venous access, fiberoptic intubation, and difficult airway situations per hospital policy. Demonstrates detailed technical knowledge and troubleshooting ability for anesthesia delivery systems, gas analyzer, EKG, and pulse oximeter per manufacture guidelines.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent, one year of experience in a clinical environment, and Basic Life Support via America Heart Association. Preferred qualifications include Operating Room Experience.
