Role OverviewThe Animal Welfare Coordinator supports the procurement and animal welfare teams by managing the purchasing and delivery of live hogs to meet contract requirements while ensuring adherence to animal welfare standards. This role involves coordinating with producers, transporters, and logistics teams while ensuring accurate tracking, communication, and data entry related to livestock loads.
What You Will Do
Coordinate and verify incoming livestock shipments (loads, rates, transport details) with a focus on animal welfare compliance, track and update load activity in procurement systems, communicate changes and updates to management and stakeholders, collect and organize load and supplier information, perform data entry and maintain accurate records, support reporting, scheduling, and weekly summaries, assist with training, compliance monitoring, and animal welfare standards (including TQA), build and maintain strong relationships with producers and partners.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (livestock/meat facility experience preferred)

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and interact with diverse teams
- Must be at least 18 years old; bilingual is a plus
