Job Description
S lows Bar BQ is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chef to lead their new Ann Arbor restaurant kitchen. The ideal candidate will possess a strong leadership background, understand company culture, and consistently exceed expectations in maintaining high food and labor standards while exceeding guest expectations. Responsibilities include menu execution, budget management, staff training, and inventory control.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in varied kitchen positions.
  • Prior high volume service and catering experience preferred.
  • Strong computer/technology skills.
  • Current ServSafe Foodservice Manager Certification.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar Leadership/Management capacity.
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift 70 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
