The Anticipated SY 26-27 Bilingual Teacher is responsible for instructional planning, student assessment, and classroom management in a bilingual education program. The ideal candidate will possess a teaching license with a bilingual endorsement and have knowledge of contemporary principles and practices of teaching.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of all student teaching requirements
  • Appropriate teaching license(s) issued by the Illinois State Board of Education
  • Knowledge of subject matter consistent with state certification requirements
  • Knowledge of contemporary principles and practices of teaching
  • Ability to modify instruction to meet student needs
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and guardians, staff members, and community representatives
