Role Overview

The Anticipated Testing Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of the District's testing program. This includes knowledge of assessment and operational planning skills, as well as experience working with online testing systems. The coordinator will also be responsible for setting up online test sessions, training teachers/test administrators, and maintaining the security and integrity of all secure test materials.

What You Will Do

The Anticipated Testing Coordinator will perform tasks such as setting up online test sessions, training teachers/test administrators, maintaining the security and integrity of all secure test materials, and reporting all testing irregularities to the Office of Test Security.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or better from an accredited university with emphasis in of the core academic areas (Reading, Math, Science, or Social Studies) or other supporting disciplines.
  • Minimum of 1-5 years’ experience preferred as a Campus Test Coordinator, principal, or assistant principal.
  • Must hold teacher certification
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • Experience working with Pearson online testing, Texas Assessment Management Systems (TAMS), MYDATA Portal, and Chancery preferred
  • Must meet qualifications as a TELPAS rater
