Role Overview

The Apartment Counselor provides direct care service to consumers in the CHIPP Supported Living Program, focusing on consumer strengths and choice. The role involves medication monitoring, direct care, documentation, and consumer safety. The counselor will work a rotating shift with three days on and six days off, with varying hours on weekdays and weekends.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include responding to consumer emergencies, providing supportive counseling, and assisting with daily living skills. The counselor will also complete required documentation, make periodic checks on consumers, and participate in agency staff meetings and trainings.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have one year of college credits in social science or one year of human service experience, a valid Pennsylvania driver's license, and reliable transportation.
