Role OverviewThe Apartment Maintenance Technician will provide quality residential maintenance and customer service to ensure tenants have safe, quality, and decent living conditions. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, completing service requests, and assisting with inspections and other duties as needed.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include completing service requests within a timely manner, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with inspections and other duties as needed. The role also involves maintaining property curb appeal, including lawn care, curbs, sidewalks, parking lots, and open breezeways.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, three years of progressive maintenance/repair experience, and knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and grounds maintenance. The role requires the ability to lift up to 100 pounds, maintain 24-hour on-call status, and operate necessary tools/equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- HVAC Certified
- Valid Driver's License and reliable private transportation
- EPA Designation/Certification
- Three years progressive maintenance/repair experience
- Supervisory and training experience desired
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Math proficiency sufficient to assist in budget preparation, expense monitoring, and other maintenance needs
- Knowledge of Equal Housing Opportunity (EHO) requirements and applicable program regulations
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
