Role OverviewFairstead is hiring a Maintenance Technician to maintain the day-to-day operations and assume responsibility for maintaining the property's physical assets.
What You Will Do
Perform necessary preventative maintenance and repairs on the property as needed, inspect buildings and equipment regularly for needed repairs and improvements, and ensure that properties are safe and avoid any danger to their occupants, visitors, and workers.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Prior experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role, mechanical skills to handle minor repairs and fixtures, and knowledge of electricity to diagnose electrical problems and carry out minor repairs are required.
Requirements
- Mechanical skills to handle minor repairs and fixtures

- General maintenance skills
- Verbal and written communication skills for effective delivery of information
- Prior experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role
- HVAC, CMRP, or equivalent certification preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift to 70 pounds without assistance
