Job Description
Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is recruiting a Physician's Assistant to assist in the Orthopedic Clinic alongside a busy Orthopedic surgeon. The job combines independent and collaborative practice in the office and assisting with surgery in the hospital and ambulatory surgery setting.

Requirements

  • Assisting orthopedic surgeons in the clinic setting
  • Conducting new and existing patient orthopedic examinations
  • Developing treatment plans
  • Adjusting and prescribing medications
  • Performing in-clinic procedures
  • Conducting pre-operative assessments
  • Explaining the surgical procedure to the patient
  • Assisting the orthopedic surgeon in the OR on an as needed basis
  • Conducting hospital rounds
