Job Description
NYC Department of Finance is seeking a highly experienced Software Developer with expertise in low-code platforms to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade applications. The selected candidate will contribute to the architectural design and development of complex low-code applications, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, secure, and aligned with DOF's business objectives.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
  • Four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position
  • Expertise in low-code platforms
  • Thorough understanding of case management principles
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
  • Experience with frameworks such as Process Models, Rules, Expressions, SAIL (Self-Assembling Interface Layer), and custom plug-ins and other out of the box tools
  • Ability to troubleshoot, investigate, and diagnose incidents using advanced tracing, alerting, and log analysis
  • Knowledge of testing and debugging front-end applications to ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and performance optimization
  • Ability to research and identify emerging technologies, coordinate demonstrations and proof of concept initiatives
  • Knowledge of IT project management principles and methodologies
