Job Description
Southwest Power Pool (SPP) is seeking a Senior or Lead Applications Analyst to join their IT Markets team. The successful candidate will provide enterprise-level expertise across assigned applications and technical areas, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation. The role involves troubleshooting, resolving system issues, and collaborating with experts across IT to ensure the safety and reliability of the grid.
Requirements
Provide enterprise-level expertise across assigned applications and technical areas.
Lead the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of critical application systems.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues to ensure optimal performance.
Respond to customer-reported issues promptly and effectively.
Participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation.
Navigate complex, highly integrated systems with strong problem-solving skills.
Understand the business and technical requirements of your applications and how they interact with other systems.
Engage in all phases of SDLC and project lifecycles, including requirements gathering, design, testing, release deployment, and implementation coordination.
Create and maintain thorough technical documentation.
