Role Overview

As an Applications Development Engineer in the eBeam group, you will be responsible for characterizing next-generation semiconductor wafer inspection products, conducting tool demonstrations, and providing customer support. You will work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment with a lot of autonomy to drive projects on your own. What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include designing test plans, collecting data, performing analysis, publishing results and recommendations in the form of applications notes, best known methods. You will also conduct new tool demonstrations to showcase tool performance and develop use cases to help drive tool sales.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Ability to perform complex data/image analysis using data-analysis tools
  • Background in IC processing/Semiconductor equipment strongly desirable
  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Domestic/international travel up to 50% on short notice (trips could be 4-8 weeks long)
