Role OverviewThe Applications Engineer plays a key role in supporting the Banner sales team by developing customer solutions using Banner’s broad portfolio of hardware products and systems. This role serves as technical support for all Banner products, with a focus on hardware implementation guidance, product selection, system design, and troubleshooting.
What You Will Do
Providing technical consultation and Banner product portfolio support service to Banner Area Sales Managers, Field Sales Representatives, distributors, and customers, with a focus on product selection, hardware implementation and integration. Supporting the sales regions with tasks such as vetting and processing, product returns with technical issues (RMA requests) and assisting with pricing and availability questions.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience working within an industrial automation environment.
- Customer-facing or technical support experience.
