Job Description
Uncommon Schools is a nonprofit network of high-performing public charter schools dedicated to providing exceptional K-12 education in economically disadvantaged communities in Boston, Camden, New York City, Newark, and Rochester. They are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Therapist to support students with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) needs in IEPs, working collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment. The role involves direct and indirect services, including behavioral assessments, intervention planning, and professional development.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field (preferred)
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is recommended
  • Experience working with students with behavioral challenges
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and techniques
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
