Job Description
The Applied Biomechanist is a full-time, on-site position at Spurs Sports & Entertainment responsible for advancing movement assessment and modeling capabilities to support player development, performance, and availability.
Requirements
Master’s or PhD in Biomechanics, Kinesiology, Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
3–5+ years of applied biomechanics experience in elite sport or high-performance environments.
Strong expertise in biomechanics, quantitative analysis, and sport-specific movement evaluation.
Proficiency in Python for data processing, analysis, and visualization.
Experience with motion capture systems, force plates, and other biomechanical technologies.
Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for coaches and practitioners.
Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with coaching, performance, and medical staff.
