Role Overview

The Apprenticeship Program at GROB is the first step toward a rewarding career in the skilled trades. The program combines hands-on training, education, and on-the-job experience to prepare apprentices for careers as mechanical or electrical technicians at GROB.

What You Will Do

Apprentices will learn from dedicated training staff in our apprenticeship labs and gain practical experience working alongside skilled technicians on the plant floor. They will also earn a company-paid associate degree in Engineering Technology through Rhodes State College.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must provide a transcript or proof of GED completion on your application
  • Willing to work at GROB for a period of four years
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation to excel in the program
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies
  • Strong math and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to complete required college coursework at Rhodes State College
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
