Role OverviewThe Apprentice Mechanic has the ability to troubleshoot major and minor mechanical problems, as well as the ability to repair and adjust all necessary mechanical components. Work assignments will be received in the form of oral or written work orders, but the employee is expected to determine the nature and extent of needed repairs. Reports to the Shop Manager. This role is an individual contributor responsible for performing mechanical maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles and industrial equipment under general supervision.
What You Will Do
Maintains, repairs and overhauls heavy vehicles and industrial equipment, interprets work orders and technical manuals, keeps equipment clean, lubricated and maintained, diagnoses faults or malfunctions, and adjusts equipment and repairs or replaces defective parts, components or systems.

- Completion of college or vocational or technical training, a plus
- Experience with routine maintenance operations is required
- A valid CDL driver license is a plus
- Must be 21 years of age, or older
