Job Description
The Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) is a nationally recognized program that provides in-depth training to prepare participants for a fully operational Traffic Signal Technician position. Apprentices will be assigned to a seasoned professional as a mentor for the duration of the program. Upon successful completion, participants will receive national certification. The program offers one year (2000 hours) of paid mentorship, classroom and hands-on training to prepare you for a meaningful career in public service.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid commercial driver license (CDL) instruction permit
  • Must obtain a Class B CDL within 6 months of hire
  • Experience in electronics, computers or a similar field preferred
  • Certifications: Must possess a valid CDL
