Role OverviewThe Aquarist I Multi-Site position is responsible for providing day-to-day care to assigned specimens, maintaining exhibits and reserve tanks, and monitoring animal health and water quality. The role requires working collaboratively with staff and contributing to the efficient operation of the department. The Aquarist I Multi-Site works a schedule set by the supervisor and may encompass non-traditional days and hours.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining an environment conducive to the health and well-being of all animals within the Museum's collection, completing inspection rounds, preparing food and feeds, and administering medications. The Aquarist I Multi-Site also participates in field collection trips, maintains water quality standards, and performs hydro-cleaning and other procedures.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biological or Environmental Science
- Previous experience in aquatic animal husbandry at an aquarium or zoo
- SCUBA certified
- Driver's license or ability to get one
