Job Description
Perform specialized tasks for tree planting, maintenance, removal, and emergency services on property owned by Salt Lake City Corporation. Operate various equipment and climb trees up to 100 feet. Recommend operational processes and make decisions on tree status and customer requests.

Requirements

  • Three years experience working as a member of a tree maintenance crew
  • Ability to read and write and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Knowledge of various trees and proper methods for tree care
  • Arborist Certification by the International Society of Arboricultural (ISA) within 12 months of hire
  • Valid Utah Commercial Driver's License (CDL) class A with endorsement airbrakes and combination
  • Ability to supervise and communicate with individuals of diverse backgrounds
