Job Description
Lululemon is seeking an Architect - Retail Services (Performance Engineering) to join their team in Seattle, WA. As an Architect, you will be responsible for developing detailed solution roadmaps, partnering with engineers and project management, and ensuring that implementation meets design expectations and adheres to enterprise architecture standards. You will also be working in a matrixed environment alongside peers in business, engineering, program, UX, and strategy to develop and deliver industry-leading technology solutions.

Requirements

  • BS / BA in technology related discipline or relevant industry experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in performance engineering, resiliency design, and observability practices
  • Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud, distributed systems, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Design and implement architecture models ensuring security, performance, resiliency, and observability across distributed systems
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop performance designs, test strategies and plans
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
