Job Description
Dungarvin is a mission-driven team providing support services for people with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The Area Director will oversee 8-program Adult Family Home Service segment and supervise up to 3 Program Directors. The role involves managerial oversight, training, and development, as well as collaboration with funding sources and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Allied Health, Health and Human Services, Human Services Management, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Business or a related field
  • 4 years of managerial experience in human services or healthcare
  • Experience in behavior reduction/elimination strategies
  • Knowledge and experience in mental/behavioral health crisis prevention and intervention
  • Experience working with a budget ranging from $5-7M
  • Knowledgeable and adaptable to new software technologies
